More babies!

A friend is due to be induced on the 13th so I'm quickly trying to make a sweet little hat. Here it is in progress, I'm still not 100% sure about the edging but it's coming along nicely so far. I also have a little girl's hat id like to do today too. Will upload a picture when I'm done. X

The good life

This year is my first year gardening all by myself, I've always helped my mum in the garden but she so good it all seems easy and natural, something I don't think I have but it's my first time and I'm already learning a lot.
I have carrots, beetroot, cauliflower, sprouts, tomatoes, beans, courgette, pumpkins and herbs. As we've inherited a lovely garden a lot of the veg is potted on the patio but the beans are in front of the shed and have just started to sprout (I wasn't sure they would make it as the ground's clay and dry).

I've had a lovely Christmas with family and hope everyone else did too. I didn't manage to get much handmade gift sorted for Christmas presents but I did make a sweet little hat for baby Evelyn who was born in October.

We managed to get out in the snow to visit family and had our traditional Boxing Day walk with the dogs.

I'm so proud! I've just become an Aunty!! My Sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy the day before Thanksgiving. Can't wait to meet him x

I thought it was about time to put some glass cutting work up on here for you all to see. At the moment I've got a thing for green glass and had a full weekend of cutting and grinding. I hope to show you some finished stuff soon.
